Our Community Supported Agricultural Program (CSA)

Our CSA Program is fairly NEW, but it has been alot of fun!

NEW: Our Grill Master CSA I & II

Our NEXT CSAs start in March (2012). Get signed up for our Small Beef CSA I, Special CSA II, Grill Master CSA, or Lamb CSA SOON!

Each of our CSAs have only our Naturally Raised (No Growth Hormones or Antibiotics) meat! Each CSA is 3-4 months long, and once a month you will pick up one bundle of meat. On each CSA page you can see what each bundle contains; making it easier for you to plan ahead.

Our CSAs are set up on a schedule; when you sign up, you will either pick up the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th week of the month (and you will continue to pick up during that week, for the life of your CSA). We have a set number of CSAs for each week, so make sure you get signed up now!
You can sign up ONLINE OR you can sign up with us personally at Bluescreek Farm Meats!

CSA pickup will take place on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of your week! Please understand that we are very limited on freezer space, and are unable to hold CSAs for extended periods of time. If you fail to pick it up, and do not make arrangements prior to this, you are FORFEITING your CSA for that month. Thank You!

**We do have a "CSA Appreciation Day" at least once a year! Each family that gets a CSA will be invited to the farm for an evening of fun and food!

Comments from Past CSA participants!

We would love for our Past CSA participants to share their thoughts about our CSAs! What did you think about our CSA? What would you like others who are looking at CSAs to think about? Would you ever be interested in doing a CSA with Bluescreek again? Would you like to see something change with our CSAs? ... and whatever else YOU think is important for US or OTHERS to know about! We look forward to hearing from EVERYONE!
Remember to include WHAT CSA you purchased; Small Beef I, Special I, or Lamb. Also, please provide your actual name (or notify us via email of an alias).

Thank You!

My family signed-up for the lamb CSA last fall and loved it! Before the only parts of the lamb I cooked were the shanks and chops. It has been great learning how to cook and enjoy the entire animal and the BluesCreek staff always has good advice on how to go about preparation.
We are now considering special CSA II!

My husband and I signed up for the Winter CSA and quite enjoyed it! It's important to us that our meat comes from a local farm, is free of all the "additives" you'd find in factory-farmed meat, and that the animals are cared for properly and treated humanely. You can TASTE all of that in the meat! We will definitely be back for the Grilling CSA in the Spring. It is a lot of food for two people so we have to catch up! Oh yeah, and Bluescreek has the BEST LAMB CHOPS EVER!!
